I think you are onto something there Allan. More likely some braid dust then just about anything else.

Allan, that's the best explaination I've heard yet, "I sprinkled the copper dust on the tires of the fastest cars, just before I handed them off to Bob in Hopkinton"

Seriously, I guess it wouldn't matter if your car had tinned braid or plain copper braid, all cars would be susceptible to the copper dust. Not a bad theory! Good job.
