Some good new at least. Ron, my 3D guy, has made me two more Studebaker bodies out of what is called Tough resin. As soon as the box with the damaged cars arrives, these will go on the chassis and get a thorough testing on the track. We won't be trading paint as they will be unfinished, but we will be testing them for durability. We will line up the two cars and try to nerf them off the track. If they go over the wall to the floor, all the better. If not we will drop them a time or two to test their strength. If they pass, at least one will be off to the paint shop, and maybe will be able to catch up to the other cars somewhere along their round the world Carrera.
Meanwhile back on my workbench, "Retro's Red Roadsters" are in final stages of construction and should be there for the first race. Only decals and clear left to do, and I will be doing that shortly.
I will post a pic before I send them away.
Keith
