In the last year or so our son Anthony has become quite the racer. No doubt that comes from growing up in this hobby, but he really has practiced more in the last year.



See how he treats the old man? Guess who is out front? Where he learned this is a mystery :liar:

We have been racing the Carrera modern GT cars and his favorite is the Mercedes. All that was done is some simple wheel sanding along with a tire change.



Yeah, look who got the chrome horn AGAIN.

My how they have grown! There is my "little racer" mixing it up early. I think he wrecked Kurt too :)

At some point my kid became better looking than me, smarter than me, and can beat me at any game. Sigh. Getting old sucks...

Yep it was only a matter of time... too bad it was a lot less time than you expected.

And you can't blame "A" for wrecking Kurt he was that way when we met him.

It's such an excellent feeling for a Dad to see his son taking the lead in important things like this :)

I just want my boy to give his old man a bit of grace when we are doing archery so he can "retire" with a state title.....

my 16 year reminds me of that all the time...but then I am taller than my dad - so I tell him his kids will be bloody giants...

Harry you knew this day was bound to happen, but it's a great feeling to see your children or grandchildren do well at whatever they try to accomplish. My grandson is now over 16, but he's found girls now, so I don't see him as often, and he's alway busy with school, volunteering for community projects, etc....but I'm pleased as punch. :)

All he needs to do now is wear a hat, and turn his head away from the camera. :-)
