If any of you are on my Facebook page you see the photos I put up of my Dad and my weekly (or at least 4 times per month) slot racing sessions. For those that don't see them there I'd like to share them here. We've been doing this off and on for awhile but only recently started taking a group shot of the cars for that session. I think down the road this is going to be really interesting to look back on, at any rate I wanted to share what we've done so far. A lot of these cars will not win any records and may get skipped over in favor of 'better' alternatives for 'serious' racing. The reality is that when you put similar cars on the track almost everything is a blast. For our needs we try to keep everything as close to stock as possible only upgrading to fix things that break or to keep some of the more challenging cars in the slot (Revel-o-gram!). Remove the magnet, add a little weight (if needed), sand the tires, set the power to 12v and GO!

For those that are interested I update the album pretty much weekly. When you see 3 (and hopefully more) rows of cars that means we've had a visitor come play with us which is always a good thing.

I see in one of the photo's a Sunoco Mclaren M23. Did you do the livery or did you buy it like that?

I also check out the photos. call me when you're done with that 1/24 Carrera Vette.
