Are you having a connection issue after replacement?

If not, I would not bother. Using an iron in that area is not really an ideal approach. And just increases difficulty when it comes time to change them again.

Just make sure the tab surface is clean. Use a good old pencil eraser to clean/buff it up and you should be just fine.
