1:32 Resin Midget

Postby dreinecke » Tue Oct 29, 2013 7:55 pm

My good friend, Dan Wilson has hand carved this gorgeous 1:32 midget. He is a caster by profession and carves better than I could ever dream of. You should see his Old Ye.... I probably shouldn't mention that one.

I'm posting this as he's getting ready to start casting these for real.

David,
I'd be interested to know the wheelbase. Do you happen to know that?

That is pretty nice, look forward in seeing Dan's work.

Tell him we all said hello and hope he finds time to join in the fun.

Mike - the WB is exactly 57mm.

Harry - I've turned him on to HRW! He's got some Jalopies too!

That is tiny. 57mm WB is about 2 1/4 inches. The whole length couldn't be much over 3 inches. Tiny, tiny, tiny. :D

I am new to this form, look like it could really make a good replacement for the strombecker body, if they are produced I could use a about 8 of them, do they come in colors? :?:

Gents - I'll let Dan know of your interest and hope that he gets online here to answer all the pertinent questions.

Oh, I say! Ding! Dong!

Put me down as interested too, please.

Looks like your friend has a ready-made business just waiting to happen.

I wonder if the Immense Miniatures printed chassis would work with this.
