Tails in the air

Postby HomeRacingWorld » Fri Sep 13, 2013 9:08 pm

Going through the "High Tails" as I like to call them and getting them all tuned. The last "Tic Tac" car is on the way here so i thought it would be a good night to start working on them.

Each is getting the HAWK motor and new PGT shoes if they do not have them already.

No matter how old these may seem to some, for me they are timeless.

Great field of cars, and I love the way you tuned them. One of my favorite classes we ran at HRW!

I like these cars very well. Smooth runners and neat looking. Some how or another I missed the Warsteiner car, but I have a few others. :D

H&R make a motor that is very close to a Fly/Scalextric replacement. It's a decent price and the power of those motors are better suited for our smaller track.

Yep. At one time, I stopped getting them out because for my track they were so overpowered it was frustrating. Remotoring made them a favorite again. Urethane tires made a huge difference, too.
