Bolton's Speed Shop is quite busy this evening.

Bolton's Speed Shop is quite busy this evening.

Due to the humid rainy weather as of late, it has really been backing up my painting projects of my scratch build projects.

Finally we have a nice cool dry evening to paint on!

I know the majority of these cars are red....

I'm still in the 4th of July Patriotic spirit.... :D :D :D

Like Henry Ford said, "You can have it any color as long as it is black."

At Bolton's Speed Shop tonight you can have it any color as long as it is red!!

With the exception of the Camaro which is '70's blue metallic.....

I'm just tryin' to keep up with all you guys and your builds!!!!

Your coupes looked awesome David!

I need to get my butt in gear and get mine done.....

We have had 16 consecutive days straight of rain here in Cleveland, Ohio.

Crazy!

I haven't even been able to do yard work or keep the gardens weeded until here of late.

And then our basement flooded a week or so back.

I could of kayaked around in it.

Fortunately my track and cars are almost 4 feet off the floor so they were safe....

The humidity has been so high and it has been hot to where you start to think you are living in a green house.....

I had to take advantage of this cool dry night and get some projects painted......

Now the fun part of getting them chassied and together....

Updates to follow.....

I wish we had that rain issue.

Looks like you are making the best of it though :)

Uh, Wayne... You want to explain the close proximity of the freshly painted cars to the exterior of the house? My wife squeaked and pointed at the pictures and started telling me about the pain and anguish I would suffer if I ever even considered painting up against the house.

I paint them in the garage or out in the driveway.

I just needed somewhere for them to cure.

At the time the sun was shining in that spot where the railing was so I figured what the heck, a good place to sun bake them to help them cure....

Fortunately my wife and kids aren't home this evening so I was good to go!!!!

This is why I completed so many painting projects this evening. :D :D :D

While the wife and kids are away the husband gets to play!!!!

Hi David!

Yeah, I was thinking about taking up a new hobby......

If I could of only packaged this rain up and sent it your way to help fight those fires you were experiencing.......

This weather is weird as of late.

You have wild fires in your area and we had 16 consecutive days of rain here.

Anyhow, I was able to get everything painted that I wanted to last night.

Now time to move on with the building process.

Hi Greg!

I took advantage of the nice weather last night and painted a bunch of my project cars.

David's RMS resin bodies are really nice to paint!

The '70 Camaro was one of the nicest resin bodies I have ever painted and worked with.....
