Howdy folks. My name is Johnny and I'm returning to the hobby. I have a ton of Strombecker equipment, Track, Cars & accessories. I'm also disabled due to a back injury. I'm in a the process of buildling a new layout. Space is tight, so I can only build a 4 x 8 plywood layout. I will have lots of questions and hope I don't wear out my welcome.

Hi Everyone. I don't know why it took me so long to finally come out of the shadows and register here. I've been reading this site and forum for the longest time yet never did. Well, I'm finally here. Hi guys. MikeyAutobahn, an American musician living in Bremen, Germany. Running Carrera track on the rug until the new house is all moved into, which shouldn't be much longer with a paltry selection of cars.

Thanks for having me!

Hi guys,

my name is Bram and I live in Christchurch, New Zealand. I've often browsed your reviews of various models if I've been considering buying one and I can pretty much know what I'm letting myself in for. But as far as your forums go, I've had nothing to do with them until now. Generally speaking I'm into older cars (although I do have some 'modern' models) including classic Nascar and stockers and have built a couple of 55 Chevys based on Snaptite kits and I'm part way through converting another into what I think was a 210 model as raced in 1955 and I think the 1st Chevy to win at Nascar. I'm also working on a 55 Nomad resin bodied wagon. I do like Pioneer chassis and have recently shoe-horned one into a Scalextric Mk1 Escort so it can run with the Camaros and Mustangs. Now I've found you all I might be able to pick up even more tips and pointers. Here's hoping I've added this to the 'right' place, if it's not can some one please point me in the right direction

Regards
Bram

Welcome ALL Newcomers!

Postby watchticktock » Tue Dec 08, 2015 10:30 pm

Hello HRW,

I'm Brian. I'm new to the forum. I've been enjoying "Scalextric" since I can remember. 35+years maybe, as I'm 40 now. I have never been a builder of cars, unless glueing parts back on counts.

Brian.
