Looking for tires for some older cars

Postby dreinecke » Tue May 21, 2013 6:04 am

...and am not finding them. It could be that I'm just missing them, but I'd like some urethanes for some of the following older cars that my dad has. I though PG would have them but I'm not finding them. I realize that they are older releases. Thanks for any help in advance.

Fly C5R Corvette

Carrera Bentley Speed 8

IIRC tires that fit slot.it 17x10s fit those Carerra wheels, as the rib is 5mm wide. There are also Indy Grips for them, but not eurethane...

Indy Grips 3001 for the Fly. Again not eurethane...

Have you contacted Paul? He would likely know... And I think there's a chart out there for his tires too...

Paul Gage urethanes #20128 fit the Corvette C5R and they are great.

Hi Dave, Bently should take the PGT-21126XD, I believe it has a higher center ridge and needs a deeper undercut on the tire... cheers

Bruce "Da Vols" had Kevin at K&D make some for the Bentley. From my experience, Kevins tires are a little harder than Pauls . To be fair, I'm comparing apples to oranges though, K&D/Bentley on wood to PGT XPG/Porsche 935/78 on Carrera plastic. Very scientific........
