Resin Bodies from a French Supplier...

There's an eBay seller in France who offers what looks to be really nice resin bodies of cars not available elsewhere; anyone here know who I'm referring to and have tried any of these kits?

I'm thinking of getting a couple of his Indy 500 bodies, but would like to know what the general opinion is...if any.

I have a few of his bodies....some have been under scale but the last one I bought...Miller Ford 1935 Indy was pretty good.
I think the 50's Indy bodies are OK too.
Not high detail but certainly good value and Jerome is a decent guy to deal with.

I Bought the Marmon Wasp from the guy you are talking about and had no issues.
Good value and as with most resin stuff, a little work led to a great car.

I guess it depends on the model, but what chassis did you use?

I was thinking something along the lines of his "Blue Crown Spark Plug Special"...

I built one of his (geodies) Kurtis roadsters (the 500K with scoop at nose) into a good-running and good-looking slot car. It took some patient and considerable Dremel work so even a narrow scratchbuilt brass tube chassis would fit under it. However, his Art Malone 1963 Novi (one with fin) seems to be so wide underneath that it'll be easy with little grinding.

That Blue Crown body appears to be someplace in between. Expect cockpits on all to interfere with getting the body to sit nice and low, unless you're a better builder than me and can make it a true front-motor slot car!

Indycals lets you finish them nicely.

I went a little unconventional on this one as there was not a lot of room to play with.
As per the pics there is no chassis to speak of.
Lets call it monocoque construction.
The car runs well and looks great on track.
Yes its digital.
