p.jpgAny body have any experience with, or know anything about reprotec cars ? I saw some on ebay, that look pretty good, and are cheap. They are reprotec

There was a Reprotec years ago, that I think were associated Fly or GB Track maybe. They made a great Abarth, a Mini, and some others. Bodies weren't perfect, but repainted, they were easily made into a nice looking car. They were quite cheap, so doing a lot of fun repaints on their stuff was guilt-free.

I got one of the AC cobras for $ 26 shipped. Maybe it will be ok to slide around my home track.

Wasn't Reprotech the company that used nails for their axles? :o

But yeah, Reprotech bodies are good, tinkering was a must to get them to run. 8-)

I wouldn't be surprised, but mine were not nails. You can see from how wide the front axle is on the Abarth that I used the stock axles.

I have a couple. Out of the box they run pretty rough and need a lot of tuning. At least that was my experience

When you say " tinkering " , are you talking like a rebuild , as in different gearing and motor combo , because I also have a few of those types of cars myself

Don't forget Cartrix. Some of the finest nails in my collection came from them :) Still in use today from what I hear. So if you want a set of $125 nails with the heads cut off...preorder today :)

Here we are being so nice and respectful of our European brothers, all polite and sweet, and Harry... of all people, decides this is the time to let his inner goober come out! Oh well, it saves me the trouble.

I was not aware I even had an inner globe...until you told me. I just thought it was Taco Bell from Thursday :)

Biscuits and gravy with eggs to order for the AM. Pork cutlets and twice baked taters, with a mess of hot wings for kicks later in the day.

Then taking The General down to Joplin/Oklahoma border for some casino time.
