Happy Fourth of July everyone , and isn't tinkering all part of this hobby , from what I have read inside these forums here that is all we do , tinker with them , to handle better , run faster , to look better . And I think we all have an inner " goober " in us all . Some people let that pesky little thing out more than others . And what so bad about getting a couple of finishing nails , you never know when you might need it , to hang a picture on a wall .

If you want NSR/Slot-it performance, then Reprotec isn't what you need. No need to rebuild the cars, though. The Reprotec chassis is basically sound and easy to tinker with, if you have an interest. A 1/32 scale Fiat 1000 Abarth isn't going to be as fast as a Mosler or a 917K anyway. Two evenly matched Fiats or Cobras or what have you, can race with much the same intensity as cars that are twice as fast.
Some years ago I repainted a Reprotec Fiat Abarth to mimic the livery of WW2 Fiat CR42 Fighter of the Swedish airforce;
