Thanks for the comments chaps. The flat clear improves the look I reckon. It's not the quickest pioneer Mustang I have but it's only got a Scaley motor and the BRM Nascar rears offer a wee bit too much grip so it tends to be a teeny bit tippy, although a few more grams of ballast and/or a bit more attention to the tyres, especially rounding off the edges should fix that.

I agree, lowering the center of gravity with some stick on lead will make it more likely to slide than tip over. I have 2 notchbacks like this with lead on the bottom of the chassis and still enough clearance with PG tires. Would probably work for you too if the rules allow it.
Also, a deeper guide (comes under the case for all Pioneer cars) will help if it will work on the tracks you race on.
