Roger Penske Grand Sport Corvette

I had this old Carrera Street Vette that wasn't much of a runner



So I turned it into Roger Penske's Sebring Ride.


Built a Brass chassis running a 18 K 130 motor. Old parted out Avant wheels with home cast inserts and some PG tires

Added flared fenders, and other Corvette Grand Sport features.

Nice conversion Barc. The motor looks interesting, where does it come from?

The motor is made by Minebea and has a tapped can for easy mounting. They are a decent slot motor. I buy them in bulk.

No Can Am, but maybe the SCCA proxy in the fall. I have already got a Ferrari 350 ready for the Can Am event
