I just ordered this Javelin from SCC. As I stated in a post a year or so ago when this livery was first planned, the sponsor on the back of the car, 'Last Chance Saloon' in Poughkeepsie, NY is where my wife and I went on our first date. That was three years after Bill Collins drove this version of the car. in 1975 Jocko Maggiacomo won the Trans Am championship in this car.

I saw it Thursday night at the "Race Place" and almost bought one.

Mine came today. I am surprised to find it even more interesting than the two from earlier. Now I'm champing at the bit for the fourth.

Bought mine Wednesday night from SCC, and it arrived today! I time trialed it on my MDF road course w/ stock tires, and then with PGTs. Putting the PGs on knocked about 0.7 secs off the lap average for 5 laps. But, that was after some work to find what was giving it a stop-n-go sensation. It turned out to be the wire to the rear lights that was under the rear axle. I think the PGs were rubbing against it and pulling it tight against the gears. I put it over the rear axle and the car smoothed out nicely. It qualified 18th out of 35 Scalextric and Pioneer Trans Am cars, and is the 2nd fastest of my 4 Javelins. ( I bought 2 #1s and renumbered one as the #2 of Roy Woods which was identical to the #1 driven by George Follmer).

Thanks to Scalextric for this car, and for already doing 3 different liveries. I also really like the inline setup, the cars are really quiet, smooth, and fun to drive.
