Yeah, can't get too many.
Not a big fan of "Nippon Bippon" cars, but this one is a really good racer. Scaleauto "Datsun" GT1. Sanded down the originally livery and sprayed it. Some black highlights made it stand out a little bit i think.

Something els i'm not a big fan of (or used to at least) is truckracing. In my opinion trucks are used to BRING the racecar to the track. But when the local club had a truckrace i bought one and worked on it a little bit. A Fly Bruggeyraera..... whatever. I don't know.
Anyhow, turned out to be really fun racing. Ended up in 2nd place. Not so bad i think, considering i never raced trucks before.
Had to give it a little NASCAR inspiration.

One of the best painters and all around good guys here at HRW was Lee, in Florida. He painted everything that would stand still in classic Gulf colors. Not only slot cars, but all kinds of stuff, including a snow scooter, or whatever they are called, and some household appliances. He once painted a Lothar Motschenbacher McLaren M12 CanAm car in perfect Gulf blau and orange, and surprised me with it. I think it was the best one he ever did, and it was one of his last ones. You are well on the way to matching his effort and talent.

Thank you Sir for the kind words, however i feel i don't live up to those words. I see my skills as a painter as average. But a buddie of mine, Loors Svensson, he is a true artist. You can see some of his work in Model Car Racing Magazine #73 where his track ACME Raceway is presented.

Some more Group 5 cars. BMW M1 white kit by Sideways. Running it in standard configuration with the anglewinder motorpod. Replaced the rear tyres to SlotIt N18. Trued them and the front wheels. A blast to race it.

Ford Mustang white kit by Sideways. Not very satisfied here, to sloppy with the decals. See how they have cracked. But learn by error
