direction of travel, analog and digital

Postby Czar » Sun Dec 24, 2017 9:55 am

I have converted my digital track back to analog. I think I read something a long time ago that I need to confirm. If you put a Carrera digital car on an analog track and change the chip setting to analog, do the cars run "backwards"? I mean, my analog cars all go in clockwise direction (positive polarity) but my Carrera digital cars only travel counter-clockwise when set to analog. Am I correct, that is normal for the Carrera chip?

I dont think so man, when my Carrera digs are switched to analog they run the same direction as my plain cars.

...I see Bruce is on here, he'll tell us....

The switch on Carrera digital cars is just a directional switch. After you get the car into analog mode via the 3 presses of the plunger/trigger, you can run in either direction by simply flipping the switch.
