Racing '57 Bel Airs
Posted: Mon Nov 27, 2017 3:47 pmThis Wednesday my little group of racers (3 of us) will have our first bomber class race between our Carrera '57 Bel Airs. To get them to look like what you might see on a Saturday night down at the fairgrounds we are opening up the wheel wells, taking out the rear glass and any chrome trim that is easily removeable. I'm even thinking about painting a couple of the rims a different color. We are lowering the bodies on the chassis and replacing the rear tires with Paul Gage XPG urethanes. As time progresses I may even take my car further into the realm of being a weekend racer. I'll post an image later.
