What a fun time we had today, and it was only testing and tuning for the race that doesn't start until tomorrow :D
Plenty of action happening, both on the track and in the pits. The race should only be even more fun!!!! :banana-dance:

After 8 heats, Shoreline has gotten a good sized lead (and broken more rules than Smokey Yunick ever thought of along the way :lol: ).
Can Am is fighting to stay in 2nd, with Team Quebec and Clover Leaf Gearz hot on their trail :?

With 6 more heats to go, Shoreline has a commanding lead, but are currently experiencing problems with their car. The Cloverleaf team has taken over 2nd, followed by Team Can-Am. Team Quebec has has all sorts of issues early on, but now running pretty good in 4th.

3 to go. Very small chance of anyone challenging Shoreline. But Team Can-Am has made a tire change and is trying to put pressure on Cloverleaf for 2nd, currently 34 laps behind.
Team Quebec continues on, hoping for some sort of miracle to gain spot.

Are you serious? Corey and I di the NSR nationals two weeks ago, last week we were on Philly for the Thunderslot nationals and this week we are in Connecticut. I need a week off.

The race is over with Shoreline coming away with a convincing victory on their home track.
Team Cloverleaf Gearz ran a very steady race and finished 2nd despite having a car that wasn't as quick as they had hoped to have.
Team Can-Am finished with 3rd, about 28 laps behind. At a one time, they were more than 50 laps behind, and tried to race their way back to 2nd, but Cloverleaf Gearz were having no part of that.
Team Quebec suffered many issues with their car early on, and could not fully recover to mount any sort of threat for the other teams. Still, they persevered and finished with smiles all around.

All of all, a very fun weekend. Big thanks to Steve (of SCC) and his wife Holly for another outstanding weekend at Area 51.

Another great 25 hour race. It was a little different teaming up with a couple of the guy's from Changing Gears. It was a nail bitter for a lot of the race. We knew we didn't have anything for the Shore line team but as the race went along it was obvious that it would be a tight race for the other 3 teams. Thanks to Steve for holding the race and thanks to the guy's on my team for giving all you had.
