Slot Resurrection

Hi, everybody. I've been away from the slot car scene for about 9(?) years, and slowly trying to find my way back into the hobby. I was a very active member here about 10 years ago, and did regular races with a bunch of guys in the southern New Hampshire area.
It started a few months ago when I had decided to tidy up, the ever cluttering basement, just a bit. My 10yo son asked if he could try the Artin slot track, that has become a dumping ground for a lot of stuff. So, I figured that would be a good place to start as any. Once the track was unburied, I'd decided it was enough tidying for the night and wanted to run the track. So, came the arduous task of cleaning off the years of accumulated dust and debris. Once that was done, I powered it up, plugged in my Slot.it controller and grabbed a Fly Marcos off the display case. It was a lot of fun, just like I remembered, but it was getting really late and I called it a night. Phase 1: completed
