I had a visitor from New Hampshire Thursday

Yup, Speedy came by Thursday evening while he's down here in Florida visiting his daughter. It's a two hour drive from Melbourne so when he got here he stayed for almost 5 hours. For a while my local friend Joerg was here and the three of us burned up the track racing Trans Am cars. Speedy borrowed my Orange Warren Agar 1970 Camaro, Joerg ran his new Javelin and I drove my white and maroon Glades Restaurant Camaro. Later, after Joerg left Speedy and I diced it up with my two newest Scaley cars, the Porsche 911 GT3 Gulf car and the Riley Ford Daytona prototype. The Porsche had a slot.it orange endbell 21.5K motor while the Riley still has it's new green endbell scaley motor. They were just about dead even.

Well in a couple of years Speedy will be retiring and moving down here to Florida and I'm sure I'll have a new regular for Wednesday night racing. Until then it's always a pleasure when he comes by.

Not only is Speedy a good racer, but he's a great resource for electronic issues, if you ever have them.

Lol, I usually have a few electronic questions to run past him when he is here. Last night he helped me figure out what wire goes where on a slot.it lighting kit. When he starts talking technical language though he is way over my head. And yes his driving ability taxes my talent to its limits.

Speedy always looks forward to running on your track, Bob.

We race mostly HO cars up here, and he's fixed many a controller or wiring problem I've had up here in nerfinboro!

ha! I've got you ALL Fooled! thanks, guys.
Bob, it's always a pleasure. and you're actually only about an hour and a half from me if you go the 'short' way (and have light traffic).
I did forget to sign the wall this time.
it was actually an off night for me- I didn't lose any of Bob's lights or mirrors, arrow destructively through his car parks or even break off any wings or spoilers!
i'll try to be more in character next week.

Bill, I have in fact had the opportunity to alter a Bunch of their electrical/electronic stuff, usually ending up totally beyond recognition!

might actually be closer to three years.
