Absolutely can never go wrong with another "Fly Classic" with another name! I am REALLY liking a bunch of the latest Scaley cars here lately. That Scalextric Allan Moffat Ford Falcon XW/XY GT-HO is great looking. I like the John Goss Falcon as well. I might pick up all three I just mentioned....

Shotgun, that Porsche is produced by Falcon Slot Cars.

I think the Porsche 908/3 must have made a big splash in Europe. I am amazed that it keeps getting modelled again and again, just like the 917 and 926. Not that I object- I love racing Porsches, I am just surprised to keep seeing them.

Dave the Porsche is produced by Falcon Slot , which i think was Vulcan Slot , which came from a designer of Fly Slot who also did Fly. Its a mixed up old world out there.
But i see Thu der slot is now advertising the new Can am cars with Gurney and Revson , soon to be out. If they are as good as the Lolas the we are in for a treat.

Yes Mike, it's just one of those odd cars that have the classic appeal to me. Since I race plenty solo, I think it would be a fun car to tune and just watch it go.

In its day that Ford Falcon was a supercar....top speed was in the 150MPH department and a quarter mile in 14 secs...not bad for the seventies.

Slow to acquire, but in the fold now :)

The old Flys are fun to make go, and those Moffat Falcons are great,
I picked up 3 more open wheelers- Stewart, Cevert Tyrrells, and the Sheckter Gunston, a BRM Sauber Merc, and my 1/24 Ford GTLM pulled in today, raced it against my C7 this afternoon, neither got a flat, hustled the Ford enough to just escape the slot a couple times, good stuff!
