This was the 2nd car I bought myself way back when. The 1st was the Warsteiner GT1.

My first two (bought them together) were the Le Mans winning Porsche 911 GT1 and the maroon limited edition Marcos UK car. I was shopping for die cast at an Ace Hardware store in Berkeley, CA and came across these slot cars. The chrome and gold wheels, high gloss paint and tampo printing on the 911 set the car off and the Marcos had such a mean stance - looked to me like a C2 Corvette on some very serious steroids.

I've got 5-6 of those cars. I like the looks of them. Not sure how well they run, as I haven't ran any of them, but they sure look good. 8-)

lose the mag and add supertires and they run great!!

Great cars. The 18k motor was perfect for them, they were a blast to drive on plastic with their button magnet, and great on wood tracks with a little tuning. We used to bang doors with these cars for hours at a time.

They're almost forgotten cars now! :cry:

We are actually racing those this evening. Great cars and alot of fun. Running on wood. We run ours with stock tires. They hook up real well on our wood tracks. :handgestures-thumbup:

Don't worry Jeremy, it takes a day or two to go through the "collection". I am guessing that car is at least 5 to 6 layers deep :)

Just imagine a semi trailer full of Rubick's cubes, and the one he is after is all the way up front :)

Don't worry about the price just yet. I haven't even gotten past the first layer of Rubik's Cubes yet... :)

Hey Jeremy, I have the car, NIB. 50 shipped, or something interesting for trade. It's right smack in the middle of a tall stack of Fly cars, and this stack is in the back of several other stacks, sitting between two even taller stacks of Fly cars. It wouldn't break my heart if you made a deal with Bill. :lol:
