Scalextric Javelin - Follmer #1

Postby dreinecke » Tue May 30, 2017 7:46 pm

I AM the mystery Dum Dum. Look at my Avatar...

Pulled all the axles, trued the wheels, glued the new PGT-21125 tires and suddenly said "hmm...The body is off, how about taking care of that light bleeding...". 5 seconds later - done!

As soon as the tires are dry on the rims I will try those up.

Like a kid on Christmas morning here!

Just wow. Add tires, adjust the braids and haul the mail.
Scalextric hit these out of the park. These are smooth and very well behaved.

I'm noticing things are a little different between the releases. The Folmer car has no wipers, the headlight buckets are clacked out, etc.

Can't wait to get the rest!!!

Thanks too to SCC for the great service!Image

I was hoping for the other paint scheme to be next. Apparently it is out in GB as I saw one in a Scalextric photo of a racing event in England.

Bob - that was a pre-production prototype and is not yet released. Due later this year.

Personally, I'd get each of them - these are that good. Besides, you've got a 4 lane track - you need them all.
