Thanks Bob. Looking at the chassis I can see what the problem is. 3D chassis like to bolt to the original mounting posts and those are pretty much where the pod is located.

Btw have you got to play with the T/A cars yet? Can't wait til they get here. (Yebo's)

As a group we started a "LeMans" class last year. We started it mainly as a class for some of the "extra" cars we had that didn't really fit into the other classes we were running. The Fly cars eventually dominated this class and as we fooled around and made adjustments here and there they just got faster and faster. I have a Fly GT40 with a stock chassis and motor. I'm running 7mm tires for our classic sports car class and I'm turning laps as fast or faster than any of my Slot It cars, it's stable and smooth too. So if you can't find a 3D chassis see what you can do with the stock one.

Olifer makes several chassis for the Fly cars, but it doesn't appear to have one for the GT40. 3D Designs makes a Printed universal chassis that I've used on several builds and it works great. You'll probably have to make your own body mounts though.
