Scale Sport track fix.

I've got a couple places on the corners where the guides are catching the sharp edge of corner of the rails where tracks join. Especially on sharper corners. What's the best fix for this? Carefully bending or filing the offending edge or...?

Not sure if you are talking about between the rails or the top of the rails.
For the top I normally give it a calibrated tap with the rounded end of a screwdriver handle.
If it's between the rails I use the same screwdriver with blade between the offending join (power off) and give it a twist.
A bit caveman but it works.
Cheers.

Thanks, yeah, it's the inside edge. When the cars go around the corner it pushes the guide to the outside & it just "ticks" that sharp edge in 2 or 3 places on the layout. Sometimes it's enough to "catch" the car for a split second. Will get out the jackhammer. : )

I use the thin end of a wooden clothes pin, shove it in the slot like a guide and rub it back and forth until the slot feels smooth, works for me!

I use wood too, a clothespin or posicle stick works fine.
You need to ensure the leading edge of the piece your goig into is even or behing the trailing edge of the first piece. Usually insert and twis gently on the offending piece works.
