ADDED SOME TRACK LIGHTING

Postby dge467 » Mon Mar 06, 2017 7:57 pm

I finally got around to getting all my lights hooked up in the pits and on each end of the main straight. I have them wired into a couple of old train transformers. It adds some neat realism to the track during some "night" racing. Sorry for the blurry pic's, it is the best I could do.

Those look great. That is a detail I just can't do around mine.

Makes the night cruisers more fun to run I bet.

Fantastic. I love seeing lights around tracks like this. Some day I, too, will do this.

What are you using for the single lights? Homemade or store bought?

Enjoy who you race with, not how you should be racing.

:text-bravo: Nice work, always Like seeing tracks set up for night racing, it's a lot cooler running at night. :auto-driving: :auto-checkeredflag: :auto-driving:
Were did you get yours. :?:

There's a company on Evil-Pay that always has a bunch of lights for super cheap :music-rockout:
there made in China and sold there too.
BUT his feedback score is, well so SUPER BAD  I'd wonder if I get them here in the USA. :angry-tappingfoot:

Anyone out there ever buy your lights form them :?:
:violin: I didn't know if I could/should post there link. :shhh:

Thanks! The lights inside the pit buildings are a stick on with an adhesive on the base. Unfortunately I can't remember who made them, I have had them for some time. The lamp post are a Lionel scale street light. G scale? Life Like or Bachmann brand. The light towers are vintage Lionel pieces I picked up at train shows.
