My pleasure. It really makes you sit back and think doesn't it?

Knowing that this is all you have and there are so many more you need. Not sure how this series took us over...but glad it did.

How long ago was it that the first Scaley boxed set of the Lotus 49 and Gurney Eagle come out? That set just blew me away! Easily the most elegant and highly detailed 1:32 cars ever made! Always wished they'd made more different makes to run with those '67 models but who can complain? There are so many now from slightly later years and all at a pittance compared to the price of that first boxed set - that was a bargain to me at the time.

About 9 years since the first boxed set. I remember being lucky enough to get a set, but since so many missed out on it and it took a little over a year to see them come out with individual release, they sat on my shelf. No one to race with really.

But then we saw them come out here and there. Last two years have been a real boost to the series.

Back in January of last year they released these.

Instant favorites. Hopefully Scalextric is smart enough to keep these coming.s
