I recently bought one of these from Dickie in NH. Very nice looking car and not a bad runner at all on my track. My question is what are the options regarding aftermarket tires? The PG tire selector guide at SCC does not list HSRR. Anyone know what PG or other urethene tires will fit these HSRR wheels?

I have two pair in my stash. They are marked "HSRR"; no part number.

A word of warning about the wheels...

I believe they are pressed onto the axle, so attempting to remove them from the axle may cause irreparable damage.

That said, it doesn't sound like you're trying to remove the wheels, but just wanted to give you a heads up.

Thanks for the info. After getting used to the car I got the average lap time down to just a little slower than my Fly, MRRC, & Scalextric Le Mans sportscar times. With PG tires I think it'd be less slidey and quicker overall.

This is my 1st Can Am car and if I wanted to get some others from the same era to be compatible what are the choices?

Don't forget the SlotIt Chaparral or the Monogram Lola T70 (although an earlier car, many 'old' cars ran in the series).
If you look at the Watkins Glen Can-Am, you'll see many of the FIA cars ran in that race. That opens up Ford GT40s, various Ferraris and Porsches.

The Monogram cars get a bad rap for out of the box performance. I modified mine per a Professor Motor (?) tech sheet and their running improved immensely - without resorting to an HRS chassis.
