Craig,
I work in "Imperial" measurements.
However I am very familiar with what is available in round brass tubing.
1.5 mm works out to be about 1/16 of an inch or .0625. K&S Engineering sells 3/32 or .093 diameter outside dimension round brass tubing. The wall thickness is .014, which would result in an inside diameter of .065.
Typically I use .093 round brass tubing for a 'hinge' on the chassis I build with a 'hinge pin' made from .0625 piane wire.
I hope this helps.
