Curious, the drawing is 12-16, does that mean if I plan to purchase a car (which may happen) I should get something I like hoping the recipient will like?

Hoping to get something to turn around in reasonable time.
I'm sure there will not be any whining, but my tastes may not be anthers. I personally will be interested and appreciative what ever I get just wondering what everyone else s thoughts are.

That is the way I approach it, I am buying something that I would like to receive myself. While tastes vary, sometimes, even if the person receiving the car may not currently own/race a vehicle of that type/series - they may find, when given one as a gift, that it makes for an entertaining addition!

I think it will be fun to see what others like or what they think we will like. I have a few items to select from based on who my recipient turns out to be, so I will try to research a little here to see what that person likes.

But I guess if you get something you really don't like or can't use, keep it for re-gifting next year! By then it might have scarcity value too!

Or donate it for the next HRW Support raffle.

I will wait to see who I get, Call SCC and send something I like and also they may like. May be a lot of parts if they build alot of cars. Or maybe a nice car that will run nice on their track, Or a car that is very hard to find. Or a car I will upgrade with SCC parts for them. What will make me happy sending it to them, knowing all is well. You will never know till you open it.

Good points Austin. Well my handle says something about my interests in cars, as does the proxies I've entered.

They idea of waiting till drawn is good as well. I was only worried about shipping times , but I think that isn't as important as I thought.
