My RMS Dart is done!

Postby dreinecke » Fri Oct 21, 2016 9:00 pm

Just finished this up - looks more like the modern restoration, but I really like it.

Duplicolor white primer, Duplicolor Chrome Yellow, wetsanded and 5 coats of Future before being waxed. I used BelDecal paper and it worked very well.

PCS32 Chassis, SCC insert wheels with my inserts, Piranha 21k motor and 27/9 Slot.it gearing.

SOLD!!! :)

Seriously, excellent job all around.

Mine will look just like it, except much lower quality in the paint job and performance.

Very good color match. I see you have found most of the decals that make that make the car look correct. That will be something to shoot for.

Yeah, it looks ok looking at the pics... :?

I need to see it 1st hand to give a proper feedback, so mail it to me and I'll return it in about 2-3 years. :D

Thanks, I'm just thrilled it is over LOL.

NH - you're only saying that since yellow was your favorite color if I remember correctly...

That Dart looks great! Good choice on the color scheme, too.
