Ok, I'll pitch in. I don't always look at the driver first but do look to see if the manufacturer has at least tried to put the right type of driver with the right car; for instance you mention the Ninco 550....the driver doesn't look bad but he's wearing the wrong headgear for the era of the race depicted (as a matter of fact, one of my pending projects is a noggin transplant on my 550 driver). The long running Ninco driver, well if you paint him up a bit he's ok if a bit relaxed (hey who knows what they give him to drink when he pits?). Mr Blobbyhead is a given, won't even go there. Revogram normally has the right driver with the right car down to his helmet decoration. This new Carrera I'm very disappointed in....I agree with the Legoman driver description but it goes with thcar which just seems to be a toy car (I know that's what it is but it shouldn't look that way). Worst drivers: Auto Art Jags, Proslot "Alien Spacemen" and MRRC. Now the last is not a bad driver figure he just seems to be staring into space (also the same driver in the MRRC 911....goggles in a closed car with the windows up?). Yes they upset me but I don't appear to get quite as upset as you do, Goose :shifty:
PS You will note I didn't mention goose navigator figures.....statistical universe is too small at this point
