My Birthday was Monday for which I received a nice gift in the form of a check from my mom-in-law so I ordered a Petty Plymouth yesterday. I have refrained up until now from buying the Monogram classic stock cars. This is my first.

Thanks Jeremy. Yes I have been following all of the tune up articles for the Revogram Classic stock cars. Reading those posts over the last year is what intrigued me to start a whole 'nuther series. I don't see my car purchases as single buys. They all come in batches of a particular field. That means that there will likely be more of these in the near future as finances allow. Of course for me, buying each Monogram car means spending at least half as much again for tune up parts. It's a brand that I hate to love. :violin:

Having just picked up my first Monogram NASCAR yesterday, (Petty) I needed a running-mate so just ordered Marvin Panch's Galaxie 500 from Bruce at Cincyslots. No, they aren't from the same year, but model years don't make a lick of difference on my home track. Does it have four wheels? Then put it in the slot! :lol:

The next car I will get in the mail will be the MB Slot Pagani Zonda as it has been a little slow getting here. I hope the rest of you who ordered one have received yours as I was the one that got this thing started. I contacted the vendor and he replied that he would check with the post office (read he will take it to the post office and mail it).

I'm thinking about getting the new Scaley "Transformers" 72 Camaro when it is released. If it were out already I would be getting the MrSlotcar Nissan R89C.
