Classic NINCO F1 returns

Postby HomeRacingWorld » Mon Jan 22, 2018 8:58 pm

Just by sheer luck and the generosity of Mr. Gameover, this old warrior in mint condition found it's way back to the Skunkworks.

Good old original NC-2 and fresh NINCO F1 rubber.

Always liked these cars as they had a nice, wide stance and the motor was just about perfect for smaller home tracks like mine.

Thanks Steve! I don't care what Doc or Brian say, your not half bad!

Any time my friend. Thats why we slot guys are all here. We all seem to give at times and you have given to me more then me to you. Returning it back to its home was the least i could do for you.

The older CART/Champcar models?

Yeah, I'd like to find them someday at a price I can afford :)

I recently found a Corna Ninco Indy for a fair price, it's a great companion for my Gigante and Herdez car.
They are mostly over priced for us who like to run them. However every once in a while I've come across them on the evil bay for reasonable (sub $50.00 ) prices.

As much as I have feuded with Ninco's representers in the US and the stupid price tripling scam a few years back, I am still a fan of the NC-1 as the best 1/32nd motor in the business for me. There have been many very similar motors along the way, making real attempts to imitate the NC-1 as best they can, but I am still buying them up when I see them. When I was in full swing, I was judging what bodies to build from a list of specs I had that worked best for NC-1. Took me a few years on and off to make that list and it worked for a huge variety of cars. The Ninco classics and the NC-1 were a big home run for Ninco.

Yes it is a beauty NC2 - nice a quick and handles well. The chap I got it off had put slot.it wheels on the it but I put a set of original wheels back on - it is quick and handles better....
