To All the car owners,
It was magic driving your vehicles!!! Well done to each and every person building, tuning and getting your cars race ready. These cars were ALL perfectly set-up and drove fantastically well. Lotts of speed, wow. Thanx for letting us race your master pieces!
Cheers, Clive.

Fello racers, the intention was to do the results over the weekend, but I suffered from Attention Disorder..... Hie hie. Sorry about that but here it goes.

The first leg was ran at 1953 @10volts. The race was again 1 minute to win it. Good qualifying saw seriously fast laps from the entire field.
Below is the qualy results plus some general remarks on each car.

Image

Wel done to all for preparing immaculate cars.

After this the pits was a buzz to prep and clean these beauties for the race.

And here were the three gentleman that raced your cars.

From left to right:
Clive
Cobus
Richard

Must say they cleaned up nicely for the photo.
Clive manages a petrol garage
Cobus is a butcher and
Richard fits and rapairs roller doors.

The race results then:

Well done to all.

The cars are packed for the next race which woul be the Marlboro Oval.

The host is Cobus and drivers to be determined.

The full qualy and race results will be posted on onedrive tomorrow. Their will also be pics added.

Ouch! 6th in qualifying, 14th in the race for the #4 Ferrari, not good! And not much better for the #1 Mirage, a lowly 15th place.

Seems I have a lot to learn about urethane tires!

Richard, what is the issue with the nose of the Mirage? The comments say there's something missing, can you perhaps take a photo? Is it just the bottom of the air inlet that has broken off?

Thanks!

Thanks for running the Round on the 1953 track, Richard and crew!

Congrats to Steve, Richard and Chris for their podium finishes! :text-bravo: :text-bravo: :text-bravo:

Good to see my favorite model Ferrari near the bottom step. The pic that Gavin took of the #24 with the red-suited pit crew is destined to be my new screensaver. It's about time there are some Fords in the background! Great pics, Gavin!

On to the Marlboro Mile!!

Alan, its a pleasure, but I can not take credit for those pics. It was taken by Jack. He is the host of the 1953 track. But I agree there are some beautifull pics of some awesome cars and that 24 Ferrari do stand out.

The race at the Marlboro Mile has been run last night. Only 2 of the 4 lanes have been used.

Two youngsters, my son Michael and Nico was the designated drivers for this leg.

It was a 30 second race on each lane and the youngsters went at it guns blazing with sub 3 second laps.

The race results will be posted over the weekend together with some vids. Here are some photos of your awesome cars.
