Woohoo! The penultimate race is run and reported. Let's get those puppies into their transporters and rolling down the highway to the last venue.

Thanks, Art.

Thanks for posting the results and pics, Art. Great reporting, as usual.

On to the final Round; pending the outcome of the anticipated Canadian Postal Strike........................ Bob Bianchi at SCC is ready for them, but we want to be sure that they can get out of Canada at this point.............

Go Team Chaparral!!

A quick thought for your consideration.
I am going to Arts this Sunday afternoon.
I dont think these cars have been run on the Lake that I can recall.
With the postal situation, I may be able to bring them back here for an extra round until the situation is sorted out if you are all in agreement.
Let me know your thoughts
Bob

Thanks for the offer, Bob; very nice of you.

I've checked back and the first race of the ROAR proxy was on July 14th, 2015, so the cars will have been running for a year in just a few days. Several people have asked if they will be seeing their cars again in the near future/ever see their cars again and I'm taking that as an indication that they'd like to see this series come to a close.

So, let's see what happens to Canada Post come this weekend. If they remain operational, then let's get them sent out to the last host track so that we can wind up this fun run. We won't have to wait long to see what the outcome of the Postal strike will be (hopefully).

Surprisingly enough, given the mediocre performance of that MB 300; I would be in favor of another stop.

My $0.02.

I know I definitely wouldn't mind another track being injected into the schedule. :D

I think it would be an excellent idea for the cars to ROAR on Chappy's track. While we are waiting for Canada Post anyway, why not squeeze in another round. I've posted before that if I had had any idea how far and wide these cars would travel, I would have put more effort into preparing the "Bluesome Twosome", but they still seem to be running ok so why not give it another go, eh?

On to the Lake?

Art messaged me that the cars are boxed up, but have not yet been shipped to Bob Bianchi at SCC. So, let's go with another Round at Chappy's Lake on the Mountain track and hope that the Canada Post strike resolves itself so that we can get them down to Bob for the final Round.

Bob (chappy), I message Art that you would probably be in touch with him about picking up the cars; perhaps this weekend.

Hi Allan, just in on the news, apparently we have a 30 day reprieve on the postal dispute. it may be wise to get the cars shipped to Bob while the cooling period is in effect.
Let me know.
