The race on Rhino River as well as the special stage on Bishops Glen were run this weekend.
It was a fun family Sunday at Richard's right next to the Rhino River. The weather was immaculate and no dust storm like with the Pan Am cars. Here is Jack our braai master for the day.


We first raced the Rhino River and stuck to our theme of "A minute to Win it". One minutes racing, most laps and fastest ave lap time to win. Below is the results summary:

Then we ran the special stage at Bushops Glen. 5 laps fastest ave lap time wins.

Here are two crash scenes, these are not staged, it was taken as it happened.


The look out post for the anti rhino poaching team got in the way. Now rhinos were harmed.


This guy drove straight into the stone wall. Horse are running and the poor spectator ar calling for the medics.....

Thank you for entrusting us with these precious gems. All the cars were awesome and I wish them all a safe journey and fast lap times.

Thanks for running the rounds at Bishops Glenn and The Rhino River Raceway, Gavin and Richard. Some nice changes in the order of results for this round.

Congrats to Keith (retro racer 44) who looks like his #44 definitely found its stride this weekend in South Africa! :text-bravo: Congrats also to Bob (rleog) and Steve (sadcoracing) on their podium finishes! :text-bravo: :text-bravo:

We all enjoyed the rounds that you ran in South Africa and the pics of your country. That barbecue looks very, very good! Maybe we'll all have to try to be at the races in person next time.............

Time for the long swim to New Zealand. I sent John a message this morning, so he should be ready to receive the cars.

Gosh Richard, I hope I didn't injure anyone when I hit the stones.
Looks like a poor girl flew right across the road.
Since I'm in that position anyway, can I get an oil change while waiting for the tow truck lol.

Bob I think the tree stump put a hole In the sump!! Some Prattley Putty and some old oil from the tractors should do the trick!!!!!!. Taking a closer look at that pic it almost looks orchestrated, with the skid marks on the compacted clay.
