GREAT looking track that looks to be a LOT of fun to run!!!
Really appreciate you guys getting video of it - as the stills do not do the detail of that track justice! WOW!
Was great to see some alternate angle and low angle film mixed in there too!
Top notch guys - Top notch!

Excellent job, Keith. Thanks for running all the cars, and thanks to Luf for hosting on his excellent tracks!

Having driven the Grind, I can tell you it's a challenge.....my cars aren't anywhere near fast enough on there. That Merc looked like a true Silver Arrow though....that seemed pretty quick!

Great work, gentlemen!

RETRO,

Thanks. That BA wood guide was probably a mistake and definitely a cause for worry.

Thanks Chappy. It did seem to not hang out too much. There were some notables on the hill climb. The pale green Jaguar, the deep blue Jaguar that ran at about the 9:30 mark and the blue Chaparral that followed it. That red beast that ran at the end was wicked quick.

OK! Now that you've seen and some of you have analyzed the video, it is time for the results. But first, it was the Boss's car that had the problem. It was the second car to run as you can see in the video. I repaired it and got a good run from it tonight, but no video, unfortunately.

Superb coverage, Keith. These hill climbs, with short radius corners and few straights, seem to be scrambling the results.

Anxiously awaiting results from the Targa!

Thanks for all the time and care you've put into this. :text-thankyouyellow:

Thanks for posting the results of the hillclimb, Keith.

I'll take the second in concourse! Both #27 and #67 are geared high, so not surprising that they lag on the hillclimbs (essentially the same result as on the Tail of the Dragon). Ready to go back to the road courses!

Congrats to Todd, Keith and Richard! Bill, good to see the #20 Merc up near the top on this one!

Congrats to the podium finishers both in concours and on the hill climb!
:handgestures-thumbup:
(and thank you for putting my Chappy through the paces to claim the top step on the podium on that sweet looking hill climb!!! That looks like a LOT of fun to run on! :banana-dance: )

I have updated the series spreadsheet with the concours, race and team results - some great battles going on for position guys!

Allan,

Must say that I was very pleasantly surprised...well...really more astounded, by M. Levegh's trip up and back. After reading about this legend of the slot car world, to finally have a car get to run on it (and not completely embarrass itself-----priceless.
