Thank you for sharing the videos - it definitely helps show how well (or in the case of my cars how poorly) the cars were getting around your track!

At least you guys didn't lose a wheel. That was my MGA missing what looked like the right front. Interesting, as I thrashed it pretty well on racer1h's track but never had that issue. Still, it's a bit of a handful with the tall tippy wheels/tires. I knew the Porsche would be easier to drive, it's just underpowered and that's going to show up big time on the larger tracks.

Very fun to see the cars run. I know Steve (Gameover) did a simulcast of the proxy runs here in MN........any chance of seeing some of that for ROAR? It would be longer......many more cars to run.

That was a fun day of racing everyone's cars! Thanks again to Allan and his wife's great hospitality!! Chappyman66, I was running your car when the wheel popped off! I just put on a tiny drop of glue on it and it was good to go for the rest of the race!

Looks like you had to tiptoe in the corners.......those wheels are pretty tall.

Dang.....that slo-mo video was pretty cool. Notice all the wheel hop.....under deceleration going into the turn, and acceleration coming out of the turn.
We say the cars are "smooth" ....this was pretty interesting to watch.

Don't miss the video of the #20 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR doing a barrel roll (it's link is right under the pic of the #20 silver car in Josh list of pics).

So appropriate considering what happened to the real 1:1 #20 car in 1955 at Le Mans. By the way, that roll was on the final second of that particular heat; what an ending! If you watch the video of that heat, you'll hear a big, collective "Whoa!" at the very end........that was for the barrel roll........spectacular! Bill, your car is going to be up for an Oscar in the Special Effect category!

On a more serious note, Bill, I really like the #20 car; particularly in view of the 1955 incident; thanks for doing it for the ROAR proxy.
