I just did a quick check of the ratio of IL to SW to AW cars in this proxy............... Here are the results:

AW = 0
SW = 1 (guess who that is................. :lol: )
IL = 22

Looks like the jury is in on the motor configuration for this race!

It just occurred to me that unless we get more pictures as the proxy proceeds, ( im sure we will)
We wont see our cars in person again until sometime next year lol.
They will have travelled further in that time than most of us, will, and will visit parts of the world we
never will. Wow what a neat concept. From the initial suggestion of the series By Allan and Bob this proxy has really taken off.

Good post.
Very informative, and interesting to see all of the builds. I will be interested to see the qualifying results.

And yes......my silly little car will travel further in the next year than I have ever (and probably will ever) travel. I am looking forward to watching the progress!

Great report Allan,

It looks like my little blue Porsche #44 is the heavyweight champ. I guess he is fighting out of his weight class in this one, eh?

It is a good thing that I removed the brass side pans from my Jag #45 or it would have weighed 120. As it is, it is the second heaviest. Thankfully sometimes a heavy build can be a very good proxy car.

I declare Todd's #71 the concours winner looking at the underside pics only. His brass chassis car is definitely the cleanest design of the lot.

That is a cool looking track, and I will be looking forward to more pics and results.
