And, it looks like we're going to have John's (urbanwarrior) Aston on the grid for the first race.............so, we need an Aston Martin team!

mercedes-benz-logo-design.jpgSince it looks like things are coming together, here's the Team MB contribution to completing the array of logos.

Here's one for chappy; particularly in view of Corvette's terrific first place finish at this year's Le Mans race in the LM-GTE-Pro division:
Go you 'vette!

OK John (urbanwarrior), this one's for you!
Good luck to the team from Kensington, UK. Lionel Martin would definitely approve of your DRB1/300! :text-bravo:

My contribution, poster is possibly more fitting to the period. This was the simple logo of the age.

I've been thinking about how to run the Team Championship scores for the ROAR and here's what I've come up with.............
For teams with 1-2 cars, the top car in each race will count for the Team Championship points.
For teams with 3-4 cars, the top two cars in each race will count.
For teams with 4-6 cars, the top three cars in each race will count.
For teams with more than 6 cars, the top four cars in each race will count.
The scores for all cars that will count in the Championship points will be added together and divided by the number of cars. It will be a high point scoring system, with the first place car getting 23 points (we have 23 cars entered), second place car getting 22 points, etc.
So, for Teams Aston Martin, Corvette, MG and Mercedes-Benz, it will be one car, one score and no divisor. For Teams Porsche, Ferrari and Chaparral it will be the top two cars, scores added and divided by two. For Team Jaguar, it will be the top four cars, scores added and divided by 4.
We'll take the best scoring cars from each Team for each race; in other words, if one car did not qualify for the championship points in the first race, it could still qualify in each of the other races; sort of a "best car(s)" approach to the Team Championship.
So, let me hear what you think about this Team Championship scoring proposal.
