ROAR - The Cars are Starting to Arrive

I will only be entering a Porsche. It was sent to the proving grounds in Georgia for some test runs before heading north, maybe even a an attempt to tame a Dragon

I don't know that the head is actually glued solid to the body. I don't remember if I did it that way on this car but typically what I do when a head has to be put onto a body, I drill a 1/16" hole down into the body cavity and a corresponding one up into the driver's head through the bottom of the neck. Then I insert a 1/16" bit of brass rod to peg the head to the body. If my holes are drilled straight and true and not wollowed out, the fit is tight enough and no glue is necessary. That allows the head to be rotated from side to side.

I've heard from: btaylor (shipped), bookie, shotgunDave, studiors, tsgtret, slotting since 1963, rleog, mclaims and urbanwarrior.

But, I haven't heard from any of the rest of you. Let me know what's up and how you're builds are looking for the June 30th deadline; it's less that two weeks away and with an average delivery time of about a week between post and receipt, we're only about a week off the usual send time......
