ROAR - Shipping Cars

ROAR - Shipping Cars

Postby Audi1 » Fri May 15, 2015 3:32 pm

I'll be away on vacation for the next two weeks; back on June 1st. Feel free to ship your ROAR cars to me anytime after the 1st.

The address is:

Allan Jarvis
46 River Road
Merrimac, MA 01860

No charge to the participants for this fun run, but please send your cars in the smallest possible container that will safely transport your cars. We're expecting 20+ cars, so it will be a lot to handle. But, it will be a great time running them!

Target deadline is the start of this year's Le Mans classis; June 13th.

I had originally spoken up to send two cars. However, a skowering of my parts bin tells me that I don't have the necessary parts to field the second car to the level necessary to run with the group. So I am down to entering one car which is the #11 Strombecker Ferrari TR250. I release the #10 that I also had spoken for back to the group. Will send the #11 after the 1st of June.

What do you lack for the build Mike? I may have what you need in the Parts bin.
Just let me know

Not to worry Bob. I am satisfied with sending only one car. Thanks for the offer Sir.

Best,

Not sure if this is helpful or worthwhile, but take it for what its worth.
I have used the slot it clam shell cases for my cars. Labeled for each car, and then in a
cardboard shipping box.
I know that some parts come in similar containers so you may already have them.
Anyway just a quick thought.

INCOMING

The "Bluesome Twosome" have pulled out from Pitt Meadows in their little hauler. Should arrive in a week or two.

If the windshield falls off the Jag, just throw it in the box and run without it.

Have fun with them.
