Have i entered a car in this race without written permission from the car owner? I hope that is not the case!
Maybe it was an evil plan to abscond that beautiful Ferrari! I have run that car now, and i know how it drives.

Wow. I must have missed something somewhere. I thought this was going to be 3-4 tracks, done by September. Goodness........8 months and 12 tracks!
How awesome is that? Very cool indeed. And I thought this was an easy proxy......dunno if my cars will last that long :lol:

Any details of voltages, directions, surfaces, etc?

Bill, I don't have that level of detail on the tracks, but assume that each race will be run at the voltage that works best for that particular track. I would say that the range will probably be 10-12V. Lower voltages if the motors were more powerful, but with the <15k motors, they'll take a little more to propel them along.

Slotting Since 1963 sent me a reply to your question. He runs Rhine River as follows: Wood, copper tape, flat urethane, clockwise and 12.5 volts.

The River Run is (or will be...): Wood, tinned copper braid, flat latex, clockwise and 10 volts.
