Ferrari P4

Postby BARC 1 » Tue Feb 16, 2016 7:54 pm

First pictures of my latest scratch build, a Ferrari P4.

I resin cast this and built it on a Gift Card chassis., It is using a FF M20 motor in a sidewinder arrangement. It has full interior that is partially done. I need to add gauges, steering wheel and a pilot. When I get that done I will post an update. I scratchbuilt the Ferrari powerplant, but it doesn't have much detail.

Lots to do still. Lights and mirrors come to mind.

AS usual the camera always brings out things that you miss. Some window gaps need fixing along with some decaling issues.

Rims are turned aluminum with photo etch inserts and I cast my own tires for them. Being a nomag racer it needs good tires.

Your models all sit so well, and this is no exception! Great job as usual Dan.
