I am also interested in that new motor Dan. I dont think we can buy them over here with the car. If you do find a source for them, could you please let me know, I would like to try them.

They are new. I just noticed they switched to these small can motors. I bought this chassis off of ebay,

I don't notice any difference in performance from the same size motors I have with Black end bells. All I did on this one was add a 47 ohm resistor to get it to match my controller better, but I do that with most of my builds. The resistor moves the throttle response further down so you get some low speed control. The track voltage is more then enough to overwhelm these motors at full throttle so this resistor does little on the top end but makes a world of difference at the lower end.
