Postby BARC 1 » Tue Jan 12, 2016 2:12 pm

I pulled a couple of casts off the Ferrari 350 I did up and built a Gift Card Chassis for it.

Here it is laid up on the chassis. Next to no work has been done finishing the casting getting it to painting stage so that will come next

Some progress shots.

To do list

Windscreen
Exhaust system
Redo a roundel that flaked

I have the correct rims coming for this car. There should be no difference in Diameter between the front and back. The little wheels get lost in the big front fender wells,

Nice, no very nice indeed.

1:43 bodies like this are what that segment of the hobby needs.

Keep up your great work.

Excellent build and I agree with Marty. I know Mickey was doing a bunch of stuff, but I think he's had to bow out. Shame.

Either way, outstanding looking car, and the true meaning of scratch built!

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I want to build up a good size representation of the Can Am cars of the late 60's.

I put different roundels on, added a windshield and finished up around the exhuast area. It just needs the correct rims and I will considered it finished.

Next project I think is a Lotus 30
