Has anyone tested this? I got one of the reproduction Gar-Vic Firebird bodies from Patto, and I'd like to dress it up.

It applies OK, but it rubs off fairly easily, so small lines and details are fine, but larger areas may not stand up to the rigors of racing and turn marshalling..

Excellent. Thanks, Dennis.

Also: Applied to the inside, the chrome pen will disappoint, looking only like silver paint. I may be telling you something you already knew, but I learned recently the hard way.

That's right... the chrome effect is made by the lighter fine particles coming to the surface. I never would have thought of that until too late. Thank you very much!

I wonder if using the pen on the inside and immediately turning it over would work? I have some spare Lexan in the shop, and I will try it as soon as the temp outside gets above 9 degrees. Yes, that's not a typo, and this isn't Buffalo, we have 9 degrees outside... in VIRGINIA!?!
